With X.81, overview pages no longer load automatically at startup, and the same issue persists with X.82.
The Overview page I have selected to load with Aquasuite is working fine in AQS X.81 and X.82. I have had this happen before, but it was back in 2021 and Aquasuite X.47. In my case, after a lot of troubleshooting, it just started working again and I never did figure out what caused the problem. I posted about it and at the end of the thread there was THIS POST from haaammit that may be of interest to you. Go to the Global Profiles section in the Playground and if its not already there, in the "Actions to be executed on profile load" add the overview page you want to load at startup to whatever Global Profile you have set to load at startup.

In the first attached screen snip, I have Global Profile 4 set to load on startup. Global Profile 4 loads Octo Profile 4, 2 x Farbwerk360's Profile 4, and my Default Overview Page.

Note - I also set my Default Overview Page to load automatically by clicking on its Gear icon and checking the box "Load page automatically". I am not sure what happens if one Overview Page has this box checked and a different Overview Page is added to the Default Global Profile. I have not tested this but if this condition exists in your system, maybe it is causing the problem.

Adding overview page to "Actions to be executed on profile load" solved my problem. Thanks!!

Hi! Having trouble with AQS x.79, after mobo BIOS upgrage sensor data for GPU from Aqua Computer Service are invalid. Disable and enable hardware monitor didn't help. Any suggestions?

Any ETA for support for NVidia 50x0? Upgrading GPU and realizing that it's not... there.. makes one realize just how nice Aquasuite is and how painful it is when it's not. ;(

I just disable all hardware monitoring in Aquasuite and import sensor data from HWINFO via its shared memory feature. HWINFO reports a lot more sensor data than Aquasuite and is updated far more often to keep up with new hardware. In 2024 HWINFO was updated 53 times. Aquasuite was updated 3 times. I am not knocking Aquasuite. It is absolutely the best software out there for cooling loop component control. HWINFO is the best software out there for sensor polling. The primary function of Aquasuite is to control Aquacomputer cooling loop components. The primary function of HWINFO is to poll hardware sensors. The shared memory feature allows sensor data from HWINFO to be imported into Aquasuite very easily. Yes you have to pay for a license to avoid the 12-hour shared memory limit in HWINFO. Its well worth the cost of the license IMO. By using each program for what its best at doing, I get the best of both, and I don't have to wait for Aquacomputer to get around to adding support for new CPUs, GPUs, and Chipsets.

Yes, I know about HWInfo, but since I don't need it, I don't want it either running or to pay the license fee for it, as meager as it is. The primary function of Aquasuite may be to control loop components for you, but as the vast majority of my loop components don't need controlling, the primary function for me is monitoring the loop - and the components on the side. And thus the question about the ETA, not about a workaround although the kind thought is appreciated.
Oh. Never Mind. It seems Something Was Amiss that got fixed by a boot at some point. The 5090 is now visible. 8)

Fair points, and glad to hear the 5090 sensor polling is now working. Also, congrats on getting a 5090!!

I don`t think X.82 is working properly. All the assigned names to my fans and sensors on the Overview page and Fan page do not stay. They keep reverting back to the default settings, like Sensor 1,2,3 and Soft Sensor 1,2,3, etc.

I'm facing a similar issue. After each start or restart all the sensors are not working. I have to restart the aqua suite service every time (restart with admin privileges, stop service, start service) to get any sensor. MSI X870 Tomahawk (latest BIOS), Ryzen 7 9800X3D (latest Chipset driver).

Just realised: I'm not using any of the shared sensor data; so I can disable the hardware monitoring in aquasuite so I'm not using the winring0 driver.

If by shared sensor data, you mean data provided by HWINFO via its shared memory feature, if you are not using that, and you disable all of Aquasuite’s hardware polling, you will not have any sensor data available in Aquasuite. If you are importing sensor data from HWINFO (which does not use Winring0), there is no reason to leave any Hardware Monitoring active in Aquasuite because HWINFO reports everything that Aquasuite reports and more. I checked each of AquaSuite’s 7 hardware monitoring categories, and they all use Winring0_1_2_0. It may not be an issue, at least for now. Check THIS POST for details. Microsoft may have decided to temporarily allow Winring0 to give software developers time to develop their own signed drivers, but I think they will eventually flag it again because of security concerns due to it being a Kernel level driver. I provided links to several articles and a Gamers Nexus video about the history of and problem with Winring0 in THIS POST.
