I would like to chime in and say that while disabling Aquasuite's built-in hardware monitoring and using HWinfo is a workaround, it is not a long-term solution for me. I use and pay for Aquasuite so that I can have an all-in-one hardware monitoring/fan control solution without a bunch of extra software running in the background to make it work. I would like to echo the question asked by willh: Are there any plans to release a version that does not rely on winring0?When you disable Aquasuite's hardware monitoring, winring0 is not loaded at all and it doesn't trigger Windows Defender. That's why the current workaround is to use Aida or HWinfo for hardware monitoring. Aquasuite can access those. Thanks for ignoring my previous message.
Is there any plans to release a non-vulnerable version of Aquasuite? I'd like to use the full functionality of the software I paid for without having to bypass Windows Defender...

Farbwerk360 German Context Menu - I have confirmed that the RGBpx LED Controller right-click menu is in German when Aquasuite is set to English. This is true for all devices that have an RGBpx port including Farbwerk360, Octo, D5 Next, High Flow Next, and Leakshield. I think this is an Aquasuite issue and not specific to the Farbwerk360.Can anyone confirm my two bug reports last page since 2025-09-02 update?

- Farbwerk 360 profile resetting to Profile 1 on cold boot

Farbwerk360 Profile Load - I have 2 Fabwerk360s in my system. They are loading the proper profile after booting up. In my case, the profile they load is determined by a Global Profile, which is set to load Profile 4 at system startup. If you are using Global Profiles, I suggest checking how they are set up. Your Farbwerk360 profile may be getting changed to Profile 1 in your default Global Profile

As of Sept 17, 2025 Windows Defender is now upset about Aquacomputer's use of WinRing0 on my machine as well. I understand a fix is coming, when might that be?
Information about Windows Defender warning "HackTool:Win32/Winring0" (AquaComputerService.sys)

I have been trying to figure this out. I have Aquasuite installed on 2 computers, both running the same version of Windows 10. On Computer A, when I enable any hardware monitoring in Aquasuite, the driver file AquacomputerService.sys appears in c:\Programs/Aquasuite. Defender immediately flags it as a Severe Threat because the Winring0 code functionality is in this driver. If I disable all hardware monitoring in Aquasuite, the driver stays loaded, even after closing Aquasuite. The only way to unload the driver is manually stop the Aquacomputer service or reboot. The driver is also causing Windows catalog errors to be logged in C:\Windows\System32\catroot2\dberr.txt. I am getting about 65 errors per day in this catalog error log file. On Computer B, this does not happen. I think the driver is being loaded into memory, so Defender does not flag it and no catalog error is generated. If I close all hardware monitoring in Aquasuite, the driver is unloaded. On your system, it appears that the driver is being placed in a temp directory, which Defender flags. According to my research, these differences in behavior are caused by differences in the Defender platform version, whether Cloud-delivered protection is enabled in Windows Security, and which Windows updates are installed. These variables determine which path gets taken. I am working on trying to get my Computer A to behave like Computer B because I do not like having my Windows catalog error log file being flooded with these errors. I also don't like that on Computer A, the driver stays loaded even after disabling all hardware monitoring and even after closing Aquasuite.I recently updated to 0.83, and now Windows reports several .tmp files every time I boot up.
I'm wondering if this was just a coincidence and something else is producing these, or if its actually related to Aquasuite.
